My 10 Places to Travel in 5 years
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about where I would like to travel in the next 5 years. You see, usually I don’t plan my travels and all of sudden I have plane tickets. I have now realized that if I would like to complete my ever growing travel bucket list of destinations that some planing must happen. I have decided to keep my list short (10 entries) in order to have it attainable in a five year period and they are not listed in any particular order.
Within the last 2-3 years New York has become a place I want to go. It has too much to offer not to want to visit: Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Central Park, The Statue Of Liberty and the list goes on. There is so much to do in New York City that multiple visits would be required to see everything.
This island has been on my Bucket list for awhile now. I have known people who visit every year, with white sand beaches, great rum and cigars why wouldn’t you want to go back? I have heard many good things about Cuba and would like to explore the island for myself.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Returning to Mexico is definitely on my Bucket List. I have been to Mexico twice and have stayed on the Quintana Roo Peninsula both times but I would like to venture to other areas. Puerto Vallarta on the west coast would be my first choice.
San Francisco, CA
Home of my San Francisco 49ers , the golden gate bridge and Alcatraz Prison. I would definitely be travelling there during football season to watch a home game. Never a lack of things to do and a ton of culture makes San Francisco high on my bucket list.
Key West, Florida
I’ve wanted to go to Key West since I was 16 years old. When reading about Key West I love the small community vibe and it seems like a place where you can slow down and relax. Some of the attractions for me would be Hemingway’s House, Sloppy Joe’s Bar and the many beaches Key West has to offer.
San Diego, CA
Ok so San Diego doesn’t sound like a “must see” destination, but there is only on reason for me to travel there…ComicCon International. Comic Books have been a part of my life since I was very young, so I would have to book a trip around the convention.
Located in my home country of Canada, Montreal is an inexpensive trip. The scenery around Montreal is supposed to be beautiful and the food is rumoured to be second to none. I’m hoping to book a trip to Montreal within the next 2 years.
I would like to see as much of Europe as I could in a 2-3 week period, I would like to use London as a starting point and visit neighbouring countries by train. The problem I might have is liking Europe too much and not wanting to come back home.
There are a number of reasons why Hawaii made my travel destination bucket list. First reason is I want to learn how to surf and where else would be better? Hawaii also offers a relaxed lifestyle this is a perfect place to wind down for a week.
I’ve been to Las Vegas 5 times already but I can’t get enough of Sin City. I love that you can be yourself and no one cares and you can win a fortune and loose a fortune just as quick. There is always something to see or do in Las Vegas which makes it always on my list.
